Ramblings#1
2.15 AM and the episode of House is buffering. You're taking homeopathic meds you're convinced don't work. Abandoned lie the textbooks of Physics, abandoned lie even the awe-inspiring Feynman Lectures of Physics. Just 13 hours back you started this serial procrastination, what began as a healthy interest in Purdue's problem of the week math problems has become a convoluted path to academic-destruction.
But maybe you like being awake at 2.15 AM watching reruns of House. Maybe the reason you finish 3 bottles of those ineffective medicines in 4 weeks is that you find them delicious, in some twisted way. But you're not an addict, at least you think you're not. The abandoned text books that contain within them the solutions to the questions on the examination that is to be held on the day after tomorrow are only the third of twenty six easily spotted reasons that you're not an 'ideal student'. But you satisfy yourself with the response that 'who wants idealism ?'-You're meant for grandeur and heroism, to help the Hoi Polloi see sense. You were meant for Greatness & you are meant to lead. Yet it finally dawns upon you.. You're just another one of them. But them is a special class of them, a class you don't mind being a student of.
But maybe it's not that bad, yet you need to be sure. What's the confirmatory test? I have the effervescence. What looks like carbonate but isn't carbonate ? What the fuck is in my medicine ? Am I being influenced by fictitious men ?

The Power of Pee
A student walks up to the horrific Chemistry teacher - who would not let students out of the class if their lives were on the line.
Nervous yet ambitious, this student has something up his sleeve. This student knows the magic word; the word that opens doors of opportunity to worlds yet unexplored - and ultimately results in self-satisfaction.
Indeed, this word sounds like 'please'.The student shudders, but not with fear. The student trembles, but he has a mission that demands completion. Time is of the essence and the student paces in anticipation. What has to be done, must be done.
You notice that the student is let out of class, with a rare empathizing glance from the teacher.
You know that look, you know that innocuous nod. You recall that trickle of sweat running down his temples, and you remember that awkwardly close walk. You know the signs, you know them all too well.
You've been there, done that. Each day, Everyday. Twice a day, thrice a day. Sometimes four, many times even more.
Suddenly it all fits perfectly, he just had to pee.
